Community Bible Study

Frederick MD

Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible.Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowships will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

We have an excellent Children and Youth Ministry for babies, children and teens.

Through a variety of activities such as: Bible study/teaching, Scripture memory, crafts, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children and youth can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God's truths in their lives. We welcome your children and youth to experience the love of Jesus through our CBS Children and Youth Ministry.

NOTE: Most of our children and youth classes are full at this time. To be place on our waiting list, please register yourself and your children/youth.

ABOUT THE CLASS

This is a Women's Class

WED at 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Main Class

We meet in person on Wednesday mornings, 9:30-11:30 am, at Harvest Christian Fellowship. Class begins on September 3, 2024.

Tuesdays 7-8:15 pm

Online Class

An on-line group meets via Zoom on Tuesday evenings, 7:00-8:15 pm, for adult women only. Class begins on September 2, 2023.

2024-25 course: Matthew

Matthew wrote by the power of the Holy Spirit, primarily to his fellow Jews, proving through Scripture that Jesus’s life and ministry fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah. In studying this Gospel, you can clearly hear Matthew’s message: Jesus is indeed the long-awaited Jewish Messiah, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Immanuel, God with us!
